The drive along US-2 route from East Glacier to West Glacier in Montana takes about an hour and 5 minutes. In addition to the snowcapped peaks of Glacier National Park, good spots to pull over for a quick look include a waterfall, a wildlife overlook, and a river. The glittery Silver Staircase Waterfall is about 21 miles from East Glacier and it is just right by the highway. Drive further about 26 miles from the East Glacier takes you to an overlook where you can see mountain goats licking for rock minerals on cliffs. Middle Fork Flathead River is hard to miss since it goes along the route and you can stop by at any available safe parking spot. Below are images taken from the US-2 route in Montana.
