Abstract
The title compound, [Sn(C7H7)2Cl2], exists as a monomeric tetrahedral molecule. The Sn atom lies on a special position of site symmetry 2. Adjacent molecules are linked into a linear chain running along the b axis of the monoclinic unit cell by Sn⋯Cl bridges of 3.7275 (4) Å.
