In the title compound, C17H11ClN2O3, an intra­molecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond influences the mol­ecular conformation; the naphthol system and the substituted benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 3.5 (1)°. In the crystal, weak inter­molecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link mol­ecules into chains in the [010] direction The crystal packing exhibits π–π inter­actions between the aromatic rings from the neighbouring mol­ecules, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.566 (7) Å.
