In the title compound, C17H11ClN2O3, an intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond influences the molecular conformation; the naphthol system and the substituted benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 3.5 (1)°. In the crystal, weak intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link molecules into chains in the direction The crystal packing exhibits π–π interactions between the aromatic rings from the neighbouring molecules, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.566 (7) Å.
