Let me start by responding to your question about women in GPEI leadership. I look at it this way. I grew up learning do no harm to any living creature—not even small animals—except for pests that are harmful. I was also taught never to exploit the “vulnerable,” namely, the ones who trust and depend on you. Then, in medical school, we learned primum non nocere.
